Comedy Circus has reached its 100th episodes by making its audience splitting in laughter. And indeed they celebrated the show's success with a bang. Known for his temper, Salman Khan had kept his cool and asked the guards to escort the girl out. It happened at a private party held at a five-star hotel in Delhi after the fashion show by Sanjana Jon. An inebriated girl by name Monika, daughter of a rich builder, tried to barge into the party hall along with a male friend. On seeing her loud nature, Sohail Khan asked the security guards not to let her in. On hearing the commotion, Salman walked up to the girl. The girl made a big scene and even abused Sushmita Sen, who was at the party. Salman politely told her to leave the scene but she turned and slapped him. PB 382

Vidya Balan wants a son like Abhishek Bachchan

Vidya Balan, who plays Amitabh Bachchan's mother in "Paa", was so impressed by Abhishek's caring behaviour towards his father during the shooting that she confesses she would like to have a son like Abhishek in real life. "I would prefer a son like Abhishek. I have seen him with his father on the sets... he was so nice to his father that I was touched," Vidya told reporters here Saturday. Director R. Balakrishnan's "Paa" is an emotional story of a father-son relationship and Amitabh will be seen as Abhishek's 13-year-old son Auro who is suffering from a rare disease progeria, that accelerates ageing. The film releases Dec 4. "The film is all about Auro and all through the film there is a certain sensibility about Auro, but no sympathy is shown towards the 13-year-old progeric child in the film," said Vidya. When the director approached her for the role, she wasn't sure about playing the mother of a progeric child. "Initially, I wondered how to do the role as I didn't have that motherly instinct. But while working on the film I realised what motherhood is," said Vidya. She says playing Amitabh's mother wasn't difficult at all. "I was a bit concerned initially but it was smooth sail once we started working together." Asked if it wasn't a risk to play a mother so early in her career, she said: "I didn't see any risk, rather it was a lifetime opportunity to get to work in such a wonderful film." PB 381

Kareena doesn't want mom to see her love-making scene in 'Kurbaan'

Kurbaan Kareena Kapoor's lovemaking scene in Kurbaan with her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan has been the talking point for months on end. Even on their recent show Date with Kurbaan on national television, Karan Johar who is the producer of the film asked Kareena pointblank whether she would have done such an intimate scene with any of her other male co-stars. And Kareena replied that she may have done it but it wouldn't be quite as explicit as it is now. She also said that the reason why she agreed to do it was because it was integral to the script and that she was happy that director Rensil D'Silva had done it so aesthetically. She added that knowing Saif in real life made things just a wee bit easy. "But at the end of day, Saif and I are professional actors and would do whatever a script demands from us," she said. Having said all this, one would have thought that the reigning Bollywood diva would be blas� about the whole affair. However, news has it that after watching the cast and crew trial of Kurbaan at Yash Raj Studios on November 12, Kareena, who was very nervous about the bare-back scene, actually put in a request to her friend and film-maker Karan Johar asking him to delete the lovemaking scene in just the one show which would be attended by her mother Babita and her friends. A nervous Bebo wasn't sure how her mother would react to seeing her do something so bold on-screen. She admitted that she was indeed nervous of her mother's reaction. "I asked Karan if he could hide that one reel only from mom's trial," said the young actress. However, Karan is said to have pacified his lead actor and told her she has no reason to be afraid. Karan is also said to have told her in jest, "Shut up Bebo, and go take a walk. I'm doing no such thing." Kareena is of course in Sydney at this point shooting for Karan's Step Mom with Kajol. But those close to her say that right till the time she boarded her flight, the thing that topped her mind was how her immediate family would react to this one scene in Kurbaan. Guess the physical distance between Mumbai and Sydney will help ease Bebo's nervousness. PB 381

Nikhil Advani's 'Patiala House' is set to go on the floors next month, his casting troubles are far from over. After roping in Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma for the lead roles, Akshay and Nikhil is now looking for a youngster who will play the 17 year-old Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar suggested that they conduct a nation-wide hunt. The participants essentially have to match Akshay's height and body language. The contest will begin from December 1. Director Nikhil Advani, will select ten semi-finalists. The winner will then be chosen by Akshay Kumar. It seems Akshay is very keen on casting someone who comes from a real background. At 17, Akshay was a typical middle class boy; he wants some of his qualities to show in the boy who will play him in the film. Patiala House will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Talreja. The film will be running on a tight schedule as it has already been slotted for a 2010 Diwali release. PB 381

Shahid Kapoor Ken Ghosh's Chance pe Dance starring Shahid Kapoor with dance as the subject of the film, seems to be a biography of the actor. The film, according to sources, is strikingly similar to Shahid's real life. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film has Genelia D'- Souza as the female lead. Pointing out the many similarities between the real and reel in Shahid's life, a source says, "The film is about how the protagonist, played by Shahid, enters a reality show before being rejected a number of times. In real life too, Shahid went through numerous auditions before he got his break in Ishq Vishk. Also when he was an aspiring actor, Shahid would travel in his second-hand car which is similar to what his character does in the film. His character, during his struggle and before being selected in the reality show, actually lives in his car as he isn't financially well off, though that is not quite the way Shahid lived." The source continues, "Another instance is that of Shahid's school days when he played the role of a tree in one of his school plays. His mother loved him in the part and this too is a part of the film." The closest and the most identifiable part of the film is Shahid's incredible dancing skills which he is constantly honing and this is also an integral part of the film. The source says, "Basically, the film speaks about Shahid's journey as an actor and the success he has achieved in real life." Shahid confirmed the news and said, "Yes, there are many scenes in Chance pe Dance which are similar to my life but it's not a deliberate attempt to do so. The scenes just turned out like that."
