After the very last scene of Sikander Kher’s debut film Summer of 2007 was shot, the film’s unit had a cosy little celebration. But the actors couldn’t help having mixed feelings. “I feel really good about it,” says Sikander. “We put in a lot of hard work. But, now that it’s over, I’m also a little sad.” Sikku’s co-star Gul Panag agrees, “There’s something special about this unit. So many people in this film are so close to me.” With Summer of 2007 complete and Sikander’s other film, Woodstock Villa, also ready for release, people are confused about which can be considered his debut. “I was thinking about the same thing,” says Sikander. “From what I’ve heard, they are planning to release both together.
