When Randeep Hooda and co-star Shahana Goswami began shooting for Ru-ba-ru, the media didn’t notice. Nobody had the slightest idea when the film was wrapped up either. In a situation like this, chances of the film vanishing without a trace were pretty good. But then, news of 10 passionate kisses between the lead pair ‘leaked out’. At the music launch, Randeep was heard defending his actions. “The kisses are not passionate, Mallika Sherawat kisses, trust me,” he said. “Because the film is based on a live-in relationship, we have to show a comfort level between the protagonists.” Shahana, on the other hand, got a little edgy. “Do you ever count kisses in a Hollywood film? There are so many kisses shown in the sitcom Friends, but nobody reacts to those. Why be narrow-minded when it comes to our films?” she asked.
